Southeast Alternative Fuel Deployment Partnership
Awarded: March 2019
Completion Date: December 2020
Clean Cities – Georgia is partnering with the Center for Transportation and the Environment and two additional Clean Cities coalitions, Alabama Clean Fuels and Palmetto Clean Fuels, to create the Southeast Alternative Fuel Deployment Partnership (SEAFDP). SEAFDP’s objective is to accelerate the deployment of commercially available alternative fuel fleet vehicles and infrastructure across the Southeastern US.
Clean Cities coalitions act as stakeholder conveners to complete our alternative-fuel corridors for EV and CNG in our states. Through our work, this program is deploying approximately 300 vehicles and constructing 2 CNG stations.
Thanks to funding from the Department of Energy (DOE), our states’ residents will be able to complete interstate trips using CNG or electric vehicles.
